Overview of types of membership:

Associate Membership: Individuals or organisations become an associate member of the Adaptation Network by subscribing to the email group. Send your request to info@adaptationnetwork.org.za.

Full Individual Membership: Individuals formalise their membership by signing the Membership Pledge and submitting it to the Adaptation Network Secretariat.

Full Organisational Membership: Organisations formalise their membership by signing the Membership Pledge and submitting it to the. Government departments or large institutions, for whom it is not legally feasible to sign a pledge, may instead request the Adaptation Network to commit to a mutual Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Full members of the Adaptation Network can vote at the Annual General Meeting and  representatives from full organisational members can serve on the Steering Committee.
